The RM is reminding residents that it’s not too late to complete the 2026 Census.

The census provides important data that helps guide decisions impacting our community, including funding for roads and infrastructure, planning for schools and healthcare services, housing initiatives, emergency planning, and other community supports. It also helps ensure bilingual services continue to reflect the needs of both English and French-speaking residents.

Strong participation helps ensure our municipality is accurately represented and positioned for future growth and investment.

Take a few minutes to complete your census and help shape the future of our community.

⚠️🌬️ Due to the high winds today, Bristal is doing their best to continue garbage 🗑️ and recycling ♻️ collection services safely and efficiently.

Unfortunately, many carts and loose items have already been blown over. Crews will only be able to collect carts that are upright and accessible. Carts that have blown over will not be collected until the next scheduled collection day.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Our Public Works team has been hard at work on the Forest Meadows Pathway in Grande Pointe and it’s ready to enjoy!

The pathway is now mostly complete. Over the summer, we’ll allow the surface to settle before adding a final lift of limestone to finish it off.

Additional enhancements are also planned, including a decorative fenced entrance off Bernat, similar to the Baudry Trail in Ste. Agathe, along with tree planting to help create separation from nearby private properties.

You may see crews completing smaller remedial work and add-ons throughout the summer, but the pathway is open and ready to be enjoyed.

We encourage residents to get out, explore, and make the most of this new community space.
