Thanks for having us Corner Brook Dance Hub!

Last night, our dance leaders had the opportunity to learn from Jessica Wyatt of Autism Society NL, who presented on autism acceptance and understanding.

As many know, we try to make our programs as accessible as possible, and that means equipping our dance leaders with the knowledge and tools to better support neurodivergent dancers.

Dance is for everyone! 🤍

Looking for a fun way to socialize, meet new people,

and enjoy a night of bowling?

Join us for our new Adult Bowling Social Group at Holiday Lanes!

Starting: October 29th

Frequency: Every two weeks (biweekly)

Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Location: Holiday Lanes, 27 Elizabeth Ave St. John's NL

Bowling: Two lanes reserved for our group

Cost: If possible, please bring $5 per person to help cover the cost of bowling.

Food and snacks: Everyone is responsible for purchasing their own food and snacks.

What to expect:

Fun and relaxed bowling for an hour and a half.
Opportunities to meet new people and make connections.
Casual conversations and socializing at your own comfort level.
A welcoming environment where we can have fun together!

Transportation and independence:

We encourage participants who can travel independently to attend. This could include being dropped off by a parent or guardian, taking the Metrobus, or using GoBus if applicable.

This is a social group, so the goal is to have fun, enjoy bowling, and get to know one another. Conversations are encouraged but never forced. Everyone can participate at their own comfort level.

Space is limited. We can only take 8. Participants.

Parents and Caregivers Support Group

The Parent Support Network (in partnership with ASNL) invites you to join an in-person Parents and Caregivers Support Group. This group offers a supportive, welcoming space to connect with others who understand the realities of caregiving, share experiences, and access peer support.
Whether you come to talk, listen, or just be in community, you are welcome.

New Diagnosis Workshop Series

Recently diagnosed or looking to learn more about autism? ASNL’s five-session virtual workshop offers an Autistic-informed, neuro-affirming introduction to autism, processing, culture and communication, supports, and advocacy.

When: Wednesdays, 6:30 PM NL / 6:00 PM Labrador
Dates: November 4, 18, 25, December 2 & 9
