Do you know an educator who has led significant and sustained indicatives to improve the educational system in Newfoundland and Labrador? Nominate them for a Legacy of Leadership Award!

The Legacy of Leadership Awards recognize individual contributions in two categories: K-12 School System and Post-Secondary/Higher Education.

Being named to the Dean’s List at Memorial University is a significant academic distinction which recognizes undergraduate students with the highest academic averages in their respective units.

The Racialized Graduate Students Collective (RGSC) warmly invites all graduate students, faculty, and staff in the MUN Faculty of Education to our Culture-Sharing Circle. Join us for an evening of culture, connection, and community!

Ready to write in community, not isolation?

SheWrites Circle is a weekly space for graduate students who self-identify as women. It offers a friendly and supportive space where graduate students can discuss academic writing issues, share their writings, and receive and give constructive peer feedback. We gather Fridays and Saturdays at 5 p.m. (NL Time) to write, rest, and reconnect with our voices.

Session 1 - August 7: Reintroducing SheWrites Circle.
We’ll introduce ourselves, speak about the history of the programme, and share experiences.
Guest Speakers: Iroda Abdunazarova, Baharehsadat Razavian, and Faith Kinyua.
Host: Mariia Martyshina.

Session 2 – August 8: Finding Literature for Review in Academic Writing.
We’ll discuss the problem of looking for appropriate literature resources for your academic work, share experiences, and have some writing practice!

Faculty, staff, students, and others in the educational community are invited to nominate deserving individuals. The deadline to submit nominations is September 13, 2026.
