Evening Active Play is back for the Fall. Now that the evenings are shorter (and cooler!) it's a great way to have some interactive fun with your little ones before bedtime (ages 18 months and up, can vary by site).

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered their time this morning at the Sowing Seeds - Growing Community harvest! An amazing 4000lb of fresh produce was grown and donated this year! Such a wonderful example of what a community can achieve together ❤️

We would love to see some of our families come help harvest our potatoes and turnip. This will be followed by a free bbq at noon.

Sowing Seeds – Growing Community is a community sponsored initiative to provide fresh produce to the local foodbanks. In each of the past two years we have provided fresh vegetables for 10,000 plates. We invite you to take part in this work of providing fresh produce to those who are less fortunate.

Weather permitting, we hope to take up the harvest on Wednesday, September 30th starting at 9 AM. How long it will take depends on how many volunteers show up however, we usually finish around noon. Any time you can spare will be appreciated. On this day we will be taking up potatoes and turnips. Please bring a shovel if you have one. There will be a FREE BBQ at noon.

The garden is located directly across from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 202 Main Road, Goulds. There is plenty of parking.
