The Amazing Science Race 2026! 🏁💚

Thank you once again to all of our volunteers, donors and supporters for making this event happen! We had 23 teams run the race this year and our fastest team completed the race in 39 minutes! We want to thank you all for taking some time out of your Sunday to join us and we hope to see you all again next year! 😊

Registration is now open for Let’s Talk Science - Amazing Science Race on July 26, 2026! 🏁

The Amazing Science Race is like the TV show, but with science! Families are invited to navigate their way around the MUN St. John’s campus, completing mini-science challenges, solving riddles and successfully answering questions to lead them from one location to the next. There will be prizes at the end for the top-placing teams!

Event Details:
Date: Sunday, July 26, 2026!
Time: 12-3pm
Event Address: Memorial University, St. John’s Campus. Starting at the Core Science Facility, 45 Arctic Avenue, St. John’s

The Amazing Science Race is recommended for children ages 8-14. Teams can register with a maximum of 6 members and all teams must have at least ONE ADULT.

Attention high school students! 👋

Are you interested in STEM and the environment? If so, we've got a program for you! The department of process engineering is offering the GreenTech High School Internship Program. During this two-week 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐝 internship, you'll learn how engineering and clean technology intersect to shape the future!

You'll gain hands-on STEM experience in our labs, meet with industry partners during site visits and develop project-based skills you can use in your future career.

No experience necessary!
