People with intellectual disabilities have the right to live in the community — not in institutions.

The Right Way is a newly updated guide from People First of Canada and Inclusion Canada’s National Task Force on Deinstitutionalization.

It explains why institutions cause harm, and how governments and communities can close them properly. We need to do this by putting people first, respecting choice, and creating real homes.

Get ready to raise the flags for pride 🏳‍🌈🏳‍🌈🏳‍🌈On Friday May 29th the city of Stratford is raising the pride flag at 8:30 am! Stratford Festival will also be raising at 9:15am, and North Perth Pride will be raising theirs at on June 1st at 12:30pm. Come celebrate the start of a fantastic month!
