🌷 Spring Clean-Up is Here! 🌷

Public Works encourages residents to place any clean-up items at the front of your property where they are clearly visible for collection.

Our goal is to pick up anything set out on Monday or Tuesday by the end of the week. Collections will take place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Crews will be doing rounds throughout the week, so please be patient. While every effort will be made to collect items promptly, Public Works still has regular duties and may not be able to pick everything up on Tuesday.

The Town of Stavely advises that the Regular Council Meetings scheduled for February 9th and February 23rd have been cancelled.

These meetings will be replaced with one Regular Council Meeting to be held on February 16th at 7pm.

The Town of Stavely is deeply saddened by the tragic accident that occurred yesterday, claiming the lives of three young men from the Southern Alberta Mustangs Junior Hockey Team. This devastating loss has profoundly impacted our community and surrounding area, the hockey community, and all who knew these remarkable individuals. These young men were not just hockey players, but an important part of the fabric of our community, contributing through their character, their friendships, and the promise they carried into the future.

On behalf of the Town of Stavely, we extend our deepest condolences to the families, billet families, friends, teammates, coaches, and all who are grieving during this unimaginable time. Our community stands with you in sorrow and support. In the days ahead, may you find strength in one another and comfort in the compassion of those around you.

We mourn together, and we will remember them together.

Stavely Town Council would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to decorate their homes this season. Each display added warmth, cheer, and festive spirit to our community, and it was a joy to see the town shining so brightly.
