Emergency Preparedness Week 2026

This week is an opportunity to prepare and reflect on the importance of having an emergency kit ready for any potential natural disaster. While we often think about winter weather, emergencies can happen at any time of year, including severe rain, windstorms, or even tornadoes during the summer months

Clearview Fire and Emergency Services is always here to assist and support our community during emergency situations. Having a well-thought-out emergency plan helps ensure that you and your loved ones can safely shelter in place during the summer months until emergency services can reach you.

If you need guidance or additional resources, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are always here to help.

Clearview Fire and Emergency Services has launched a new platform where burn permits can once again be purchased online. Community Connect is an upgrade from the previous burn permit platform. In addition to burn permits, residents can opt to provide important information that will assist Clearview Fire & Emergency Services in the event of an emergency.

All property owners interested in having an outdoor fire in Clearview Township are required to purchase a Burn Permit. Permits cost $10 per property and are valid for the calendar year. As we transition to the new platform, any 2025 regular burn permits will be temporarily extended until May 21, 2026.

Online purchase is encouraged, but permits can still be obtained in person at the Clearview Township Administration Centre during regular business hours.
To create a Community Connect account, purchase a burn permit or learn more about the new platform, visit www.clearview.ca/burn-permits.
