A new school year is almost upon us. Calling all volunteers! By all means, share with family and friends! Get the kiddos to beg their favourite aunts and uncles to volunteer. Poke (gently!) the grandparents who are always saying they want to do something to keep themselves busy. Coerce the older siblings who don't have work or classes first thing in the morning. Nudge the neighbours who love your kids as their own. Tell them all, Miss Hillier sent you! 😉

On August 15th our Annual Fundraising Ride to the Max took Place to raise money towards the Operational Costs of Running our Lion Max Simms Memorial Camp !!!
This was our 17th Year for Doing this Fundraiser that had 41 Registered to attend with 38 participants showing up that day with Pledges and Donations to raise money for our Camp .
It was a day & Night of Fun/ Fellowship/& Frolicking with everyone enjoying every minute !!! We had Motorcycle’s, Cars , Side By Sides & Quads this year again !!!
I am Pleased to announce that our Fundraising efforts collected over ( $30,000.00 ) this Year with some more Cheques expected that will be used for Operation costs that will help our Camp users enjoy a camping experience based on their Disability!!!!
On behalf of our Fundraising Committee we would like to thank everyone who participated this Year ( Lions members and Friends of Lions) as well as Everyone who made a donation this year to help in our Fundraising efforts!!! Your Generosity will put Smiles on all those Special Needs Campers that come to stay at our facility!!!
