Proud to see our Community Exhale shared by MP James Bezan. 💙

Last night was such a beautiful reminder of what makes Stonewall special. When our community was faced with an incredibly difficult situation, people stepped up, helped their neighbours, opened their doors, donated what they could and simply showed up.

Community Exhale was our chance to come together after the storm, recognize everyone who helped, and enjoy an evening as a community again.

Thank you, James, for joining us and for recognizing the incredible strength and resilience of Stonewall. This is community. ❤️

📚 Creating opportunities right here in Stonewall!

The Town of Stonewall is always looking for ways to help residents build new skills, further their education, and create pathways to meaningful employment.

We’re happy to partner with the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority and Manitoba Metis Federation to help bring this Home Care Attendant training opportunity to Stonewall! 💙

This 3-week, full-time paid training program begins September 14 and offers guaranteed employment upon successful completion, giving residents the opportunity to train and work within our region.

Investing in people strengthens our workforce, supports our health-care system, and helps build a stronger community. 🏡
