Male about 4 years old

Meet Bruno, a happy, goofy boy with a big heart and a constantly wagging tail!

Bruno loves his people, enjoys affection, rides beautifully in the car, and is treat-motivated and eager to learn. He knows sit, paw, and down and is making progress with his house training and manners.

He can get overly excited during play and needs continued guidance with jumping, mouthing, and leash manners. He bonds closely with his person and would benefit from a patient foster willing to help him continue building confidence and learning.

Bruno is good with other dogs, but his compatibility some dogs hasn’t been fully assessed, and his behaviour around cats is unknown.

This shy guy was found on Beverly Ave, Spruce Grove on 2026/OCT/15. He is an intact male with no identification. We would love to reunite him with his owners. If this is your cat, please contact the shelter at 780-968-8400 between 8:30am-4:30pm daily (even weekends and stat holidays).

URGENT URGENT URGENT.. Was not expecting the call I got today. My foster home called me and told me could I come and pick up Marshmellow NOW as they could not foster anymore. I was stunned, first news I had heard about any issues with this sweet boy.What is wrong with people???????? A little notice would help. I asked for longer he said he would give me till Monday . I told him I am not a magician and to give me some time. I really need a foster home by Monday as that is when the dead line is. I asked why the sudden urgency and when he told me I was a little taken back. I am not going to put it on this page. I know 48 hours is not a long time but thats all I have.. He is a shy sweet boy, 4 years old and good with quiet cats. not sure about dogs. Once you get to know him he is a love bug. PLEASE SHARE AND POST EVERYWHERE. 🚨CAT & KITTEN FOSTERS DESPERATELY NEEDED🚨
FAARS is overwhelmed, and we desperately need more foster homes for cats and kittens! Things have been incredibly busy, and we are receiving calls for help every single day. The heartbreaking reality is that without foster homes, we are forced to say NO to animals who desperately need us.

We can't save them without YOU!
🐾 Short-Term Fosters: Maybe you can offer a safe, quiet space for a cat or kitten to recover after being spayed or neutered, or while recovering from an illness or injury. Sometimes we only need a home for a week or two.
🐾 Long-Term Fosters: Maybe you have room in your home and heart for a mama and her kittens, a litter of kittens, or a cat waiting to find their forever family.
🐾 Even Temporary Help Makes a Difference: You don't have to commit to fostering for months. Sometimes just having someone available for a short period can make all the difference.

Fostering doesn't mean you have to adopt. It means providing a safe, loving place for an animal until they're ready for their next chapter.
Our rescue is stretched incredibly thin. We have so many animals already in our care, and the requests for help just keep coming. We want to be able to say YES, but we simply cannot do it without more foster families.
You provide the love and a safe home.
