I got a call from the Holy Trinity Church’s Catholic Woman’s League on Monday, they had some food left over from a funeral.
I’m so grateful for these calls they always come at a time when someone is reaching out for food, or so it seems. And there was someone reaching out for food and I was able to pass this blessing on to him.
He had just moved into his own apartment and spent all his money on getting into this apartment and had none left for food. He is working and will get to the food bank but needed a little help until he could get there. I gave him the box. He had to say thank you with a hug and said I saved him. But I didn’t save him, his Tricommunity saved him.

Pet Foods Etc is truly a community‑minded local pet food store. Last Saturday they hosted a free Community BBQ, and in the spirit of giving, they blessed FFT with their delicious leftovers from Grove Meats — another great local business.
What a generous gesture from Pet Foods Etc. Thank you for supporting our unsheltered community.

They also support our unsheltered community with food often.

Yesterday they blessed us with 30 pieces of lemon grass chicken. I’ll be blessing our unsheltered with delicious lemongrass chicken with rice & veggies this Friday.

This is what cooking for 30 looks like - full pots, full counters and a whole lot of heart.
Thank you D.K. You show up in so many ways, and it never goes unnoticed. The labels, the organization, the care you put into every detail. …it’s such a thoughtful touch and it makes everything smoother for everyone.

Grateful for you and grateful for this work we get to do together.

Monday’s meal prepared by D.K. She’ll be preparing this Friday’s dinner also. During the summer we have some Friday nights that are open. We are thankful to have the food to cover. Thank you Tricommunity for your support.

The Garden Venue at Good Land Farms in Parkland County blessed us with some left over food that will be added to our lunch deliver today. We can’t thank them enough for thinking of FFT. I love picking up at this beautiful venue just south of Stony on 779.
