The Holborn Area Community Crime Watch Association has over 230 members in the area of Township Road 52 south to the river, & Range Road 10 west to Range Road 50 in the County of Parkland. Our association prides itself on working with the RCMP on preventing crime in our neighborhood.

RCMP in are advising the public of the recent arrest of Patrick Willis Fair (69), a resident of . In October 2025, RCMP received a report of a sexual assault involving a female youth victim. Further investigation determined that additional female victims existed spanning from 1984 to 2025.

: On Aug. 13, 2026, at approximately 6:18 a.m., Parkland RCMP attended a serious collision on Highway 627 between RR 273 and 274 in between a motorcycle and pickup truck. Upon arrival, it was determined that the driver of the motorcycle was deceased, and the sole occupant of the pickup truck did not sustain any injuries.

A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the cause of the collision is still under investigation. The scene is expected to be cleared shortly and the roadway will reopen to traffic.

Parkland RCMP sends condolences to the family and friends of all involved.

: Police are currently on scene at a serious collision on Highway 627 between Range Road 273 and 274 in Parkland County. Please use alternate routes as the road will be closed for several hours. For the most up to date information on road closures, consult Alberta 511.
