This afternoon SDFR was dispatched to a field fire in the RM of Mckillop. Thanks to the awesome help from local farmers the fire was quickly contained and extinguished.

This morning at 0:51 SDFR was dispatched to a vehicle vs moose. We responded with 14 members. Strasbourg EMS and RCMP also attended. Back in service at 2:00

Friday at 14:45 SDFR was dispatched to a two vehicle mvc on highway 20 south of Bulyea with injuries. 12 members responded. EMS and RMCP attended
All units back in service at 16:31

Some hose and nozzle training last night. As well as porta tank deployment and hydrant procedure and hookups.
Nothing like a little water war with the pig on a hot night.

SDFR was toned out to a tractor fire this afternoon. Thanks you to the Bracken’s for keeping it contained till we got there.

Due to lack of interest unfortunately we will have to cancel this years golf tournament. We only had 3.5 teams enter. We will try again next yr. Thank you to those who did enter. Your support is greatly appreciated. And also to the businesses and individuals who donated prizes. We will be in contact with you.

A little watering project in the Strasbourg Rodeo Arena for the Wednesday night barrel racers.

Last night SDFR received a call for a house fire in the RM of McKillop. We responded with 14 members. Crews gained entry to the basement with scba to attack the fire. All units declared back in service at 1215am
