A public meeting will still be held during the Council meeting on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. to provide Council and the public with an opportunity to review the revised application and provide comments. No decision will be made at the public meeting.

Camp Stories ☀️ Meet Jessica, Camp Counsellor!

“What I enjoy most about being a camp counsellor is getting to know the campers and providing a welcoming environment for them to spend their summer vacation. I also love creating fun, memorable experiences and seeing the kids smile and enjoy their time at camp.”

What is your favourite camp memory?
Fun Fridays, because the campers enjoy the extra activities that we plan for them. Whether it’s Beach Day, Carnival Day, or the Colour Run, it’s amazing to see the kids laughing, making memories, and having so much fun together.⛱️🤹‍♂️

What’s something most people don’t know about you?
Jessica is heading into her third year at Western University studying Actuarial Science with a double minor in Economics and Political Science, with a goal of becoming a high school math teacher one day! 📚

Counsellors like Jessica are what makes camp such a memorable and welcoming experience for every camper! There are still spots available in select camps! Register today: https://app.univerusrec.com/strathroycaradocpub/courses/index.asp

✨ Exciting news for seniors in Strathroy-Caradoc!

The Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc has been awarded a $25,000 Ontario Seniors Community Grant to launch our new Active Days program.

Anticipated to launch in late September 2026, the Active Days program will offer a variety of physical, creative, social, and culinary activities designed to support the physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being of older adults in our community. Programming will primarily take place at the Caradoc Community Centre and is expected to serve 750–1,500 seniors each week.

This investment from the Province of Ontario will help create more opportunities for seniors to stay active, healthy, and socially connected.
