🚂 WE’RE BACK!

We’re so happy to announce that our Scenic Tours will be running again starting Saturday, September 5th!

Join us Saturdays, Sundays & Mondays as we get back on the rails and welcome you aboard once again. We’re so excited to have our guests back and share the beautiful Okanagan scenery with you! 🌲⛰️🚂

GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY UPDATE ‼️

Unfortunately, our Great Train Robbery events have been cancelled for the remainder of the year. The Bald Range wildfire impacted the area where the robbery takes place, making it necessary to cancel these events.

Guests with Great Train Robbery bookings will automatically receive a refund. Please allow 2–3 business days for the refund to be processed.

If you’d like to join us for a Scenic Train Tour, tickets and dates are available at www.kettlevalleyrail.org.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support throughout the past few weeks. We can’t wait to see you back aboard! ❤️🚂

As we continue to navigate the impacts of the recent wildfires, we wanted to provide a quick update.

Operations will remain suspended for the remainder of August. We are hopeful to resume train operations in September and will continue to share updates as we assess conditions and determine next steps.

We’re happy to report that our train has safely returned home to the station🚂♥️

We were recently able to access the station under a temporary access permit and see the train and facilities firsthand. We’re very pleased to confirm that the fires did not reach our station, and everything appears to be safe.

Operations will remain cancelled through the end of August, at which point we will reevaluate the situation and determine next steps. We’ll continue to keep everyone updated as we assess conditions and plan for the future.

We’re incredibly grateful to the fire crews, first responders, emergency personnel, and support teams working tirelessly to protect our communities. Their dedication, courage, and countless hours during this difficult time do not go unnoticed.

Thank you to everyone for your patience, support, and understanding ❤️

Due to the Bald Range wildfire and current conditions in our area, all operations are temporarily suspended until further notice.

Refunds for affected bookings are currently underway. We appreciate your patience as our team works through these during this difficult time.

As a precaution, we have moved our locomotive and train cars away from the area of the fire to a safer location, with the hope of keeping our equipment protected.

Our thoughts are with everyone in our community who has been impacted by the fire. We are incredibly grateful to the firefighters, emergency crews, volunteers, and everyone working tirelessly to keep our community safe ❤️

For the past few years, members of our Road & Rail Equipment team have been proud to support the Kettle Valley Railway.

As a nonprofit organization and home to one of only three operational steam locomotives in Canada, their work helps preserve an important part of our rail heritage.

A big thank you to Brad and his team for the care and dedication it takes to maintain and operate this historic equipment so it can be enjoyed by future generations. If you have a spare afternoon, we encourage you to stop by and experience a piece of rail history firsthand.
