The Friends of the Summerland Library (FOSL) are an INFORMAL group supporting the Summerland Branch of the Okangan Regional Library. Previously the Friends of the Library was a registered society that raised funds to support a new Summerland library. All around the wo

rld you will find Friends of the Library societies that support their local libraries. Now the Friends of the Library volunteer at book sales and other special events. Specific support is given to events such as Summer Reading Club, the Books for Babies program, and other library programs. We welcome all volunteers! If you're interested in helping, inquire at the library desk.
