Summerside Meals on Wheels Inc. continues to support Summerside seniors with nutritious low cost meals thanks to generous donations from community businesses like the Cooperators! Thank you for making Summerside Meals on Wheels Inc. your charity of choice for 2026!

Our office manager, Nicky Gaudet, plans & hosts a monthly Wellness Week for our staff. For our “Thankful Thursday” we share & express gratitude. We also do acts of kindness within our community & select a charity of choice for the year to financially support! The proceeds are from our Agent/Owner, Bill McRorie, our staff, our client’s and our corporate office.

Our charity of choice for 2026 is Meals on Wheels Summerside. Meals on Wheels PEI is a collaborative leader for the delivery of nutritious and affordable meals, to persons facing physical barriers to access in PEI. Meals on Wheels PEI collaboratively promotes wellness, health, independence and social connection.

We are thrilled to present our first financial donation of $7210.00. Another donation will follow in December.

This “Act of Kindness” for our community is the best way to express our gratitude and show we care!

Thank you, East Prince Funeral Home, one of our important community partners! We are grateful for your generous donation to Meals on Wheels Summerside. In the photo is Meals on Wheels longtime board member Rosaleen Mahoney accepting a $500 donation from East Prince Funeral Home Board Director Steve MacDougall. Donations like these enable us to deliver hot meals to seniors and shut-ins in our area.😍
