Heritage Surrey We share local history drawn straight from the collection at the Surrey Archives. We encourage respectful conversation and shares!

We strive to keep the memories of our communities alive and increase our understanding of each other. At the Surrey Archives, our mission is to keep the memories of our communities alive and increase our understanding of each other. On this page, we make Surrey history accessible by sharing images and stories AND offering self-serve options through several online heritage tools. Surrey Archives staff are here to answer your questions! We are a service for ALL citizens of Surrey and seek to involve and represent every community of our fair city. We are responsible for the heritage resources entrusted to us and utilize them to draw connections between the past and present. On this page, we encourage dialogue, engagement and connections - with some education about local history mixed in. :)

Please be respectful, share posts and SMILE. Surrey Archives is situated on the unceded, and ancestral lands of the Salish peoples, including the q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen), and se’mya’me (Semiahmoo) nations.
