It was all hands on deck this morning. 🧡

Every Genie truck and trailer was on the road, our consultation team was out meeting with families, our office team was keeping everything running behind the scenes, and our warehouse team was preparing for another busy day.

Even the dogs showed up.

And of course... even the littlest member of the Genie team wanted to join in.

She's not quite ready for her first shift yet, but she was pretty proud to wear the uniform.

She already says "please" and "thank you," loves meeting new people, adores animals, isn't afraid of a little hard work (farm life will do that), and has the kindest little heart.

We'd say she's a pretty good fit.

A successful suite set-up completed today at Oceania PARC Retirement Living!

Did you know that Genie Senior Services offers complete suite set-ups? Our team doesn't just move furniture—we thoughtfully transform suites into warm, welcoming homes that are ready from day one.

Today's set-up was led by Olivia, our Genie Manager, whose experience working as an assistant designer with an interior design firm brings a creative eye for styling and functionality.

She was joined by fellow Genie team members El, a Registered Care Aide who understands the importance of comfort, safety, and dignity, and Michael, whose background in Financial Services brings exceptional organization and attention to detail.

Every member of our Genie team brings unique experience and expertise, allowing us to provide a level of care and service that goes far beyond a move.

Helping seniors transition into their next chapter with compassion, professionalism, and a beautifully finished space is what we love to do. 🧡

What a week it's been at Genie Senior Services! 🧡

This week reminded us why we love what we do (again!).

We had the pleasure of welcoming our newest franchise partners, Jim & Kristen from Arizona, for hands-on training. Together we experienced every part of what makes Genie special—from packing, unpacking, moves, suite set-ups, and clean-outs to the countless small moments that help families feel supported through a major life transition.

We were also fortunate to spend time with our dear friends and fellow franchise partners, Tobin & Laura from Genie Senior Services Vancouver Island BC who were completing a move in Cranbrook. We enjoyed having them over for dinner on their way back to the ferry—one of the many reminders that the Genie family extends well beyond business.

This week also included delivering some of our special gifts to local senior communities and community partners. Giving back has always been a pillar of our family, and we believe every business has the opportunity to make a positive impact beyond the services they provide.

We're also excited to have launched the very first edition of "The Gentle Transition"—our new monthly newsletter created for senior residences, families, and community partners. Our goal is simple: to provide practical guidance, helpful resources, and compassionate support for those navigating life's next chapter.

As our first issue shares, the hardest part of a move is often the decisions, not the lifting. Watch for our complimentary Moving Checklist included in this month's newsletter—it covers everything from preparing in advance to moving day and settling into your new home.

If we've been a little quiet lately, it's because we've been busy doing what we love most—helping seniors and their families. 🧡

Here's what the Genie team has been up to:

• This week, we've already assisted 12 families through moves, packing, downsizing, and home preparation—with four more families scheduled before the week is over.

• Conducted complimentary in-home consultations with families planning ahead.

• Connected with local real estate professionals and introduced Genie to new offices.

• Visited senior living communities to strengthen relationships and stay informed on new programs, services, and resources available to residents.

• Met with local resource organizations to expand our network of trusted community supports.

• Coordinated large furniture and household donations through local charities and community organizations.

• Delivered curated appreciation gift baskets to our senior living community partners for resident events and celebrations.

• Continued refining our client welcome experience and introducing new move-day resources.

• Enhanced our systems and processes to continually elevate the Genie experience.

• Started filling our calendar with even more upcoming community events, educational seminars, and open houses.

Every week is different, and we're excited to continue doing what we love most while seeing what July has in store. 🧡
