Sussex Area Community Foundation

Sussex Area Community Foundation www.sacfi.org The Sussex Area Community Foundation is autonomous and governed by a group of volunteers.

The Foundation holds a pool of community donation which it invests. Earnings from this investment are returned to the community in the form of grants and scholarships. Twice every year the SACF distribute grants to local non-profits to help them provide valuable services and programs to the Sussex area. SACF also awards scholarships each June to students in the Sussex Area.

Since 2005, the Sussex Area Community Foundation has successfully supported local projects to improve the community. Now the pool of donations required to meet project requests is not sufficient. This event was originally scheduled for SRHS, but due to renovations the location was moved.

Did you know that Sussex Area Community Foundation holds a 'Food Bank Fund' where anyone can donate to help the two local foodbanks. Foodbanks not only help those with food insecurity, but help inform, teach and assist with other necessities in life.
