29-year-old Jennifer Morbelli and her baby were murdered in a late-term abortion procedure committed by LeRoy Carhart. Witnesses said Jennifer appeared “weak and pale” during the multi-day procedure and spent more time in the facility than patients normally do.
Hours after the procedure, Jennifer’s condition deteriorated. Her family reached out to Carhart for help, but he was unresponsive. In desperation, they brought her to the emergency room. The staff there also tried to contact Carhart repeatedly for instruction but to no avail. Without knowledge of her condition from Carhart, the hospital staff could not assist. As a result, Jennifer died.
It's time to protect women and children by outlawing abortion.
