Registration is now open for anyone wishing to attend our upcoming Fall Grief Support Programs!

Whether your loss is recent or occurred some time ago, these programs offer support, understanding, and opportunities for healing.

Our programs provide a safe, welcoming, and compassionate space where individuals can connect with others who understand the challenges of loss.

Led by trained facilitators, each session encourages meaningful conversation, compassionate listening, and connection with helpful resources to support you on your grief journey.

▶️ Session are offered in person & virtually

Bereaved Families of Nova Scotia is pleased to help Seniors Take Action Coalition raise awareness of its upcoming Good Life, Good Death Conference.

This meaningful community event will help individuals, families, and communities better understand and navigate the complex topics of grief, death, and end-of-life planning. The day will feature informative speakers, engaging workshops, and an expo showcasing helpful community services and providers.

Bereaved Families of Nova Scotia is proud to partner with Healthy Minds Cooperative to offer free six-week in-person Living with Grief program for adults in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community residing within the HRM area.

This program led by trained facilitators, provides a safe, compassionate, and supportive space to connect with others, share experiences, and explore healthy ways of living with grief.

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Canadian Children’s Grief Symposium — a meaningful and impactful professional development opportunity for anyone supporting grieving children, youth, families, and communities.

Join compassionate leaders, researchers, clinicians, educators, and experts in the field of children’s grief and bereavement for two days of learning, connection, and reflection. This symposium offers the opportunity to gain practical knowledge, explore emerging perspectives, and connect with others committed to strengthening grief support across Canada and beyond.

NOW LIVE! | Fall 2026 Grief Support Programs

Registration is now open for Bereaved Families of Nova Scotia’s Fall 2026 Grief Support Programs, beginning this September.

Grief can feel different for everyone, and you do not have to navigate it alone. Our free grief support programs provide a safe, compassionate, and understanding space where individuals can connect with others who understand, explore helpful coping tools, and receive support as they move through their grief.

We offer a variety of programs to support different types of loss and grief experiences, with both virtual and in-person options available.

Whether you are looking for connection, understanding, practical coping strategies, or simply a supportive place to be with your grief, we are here to help.
