Please see important updates below regarding schools in Victoria County:

- The State of Local Emergency in Victoria County has been lifted.
- Classes will resume at all Victoria County schools tomorrow (Sept. 9).
- Buses servicing Rankin School of the Narrows will travel on paved roads only for both morning and afternoon runs tomorrow (Sept 9).

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding over the last few days as we navigated the rainstorm and its impacts. We are also very appreciative of the many government and community partners who have been continuing to work since Friday to ensure the safety of residents, as well as assessing damage and completing repairs.

Most of all, we look forward to welcoming Victoria County students back to school in the morning!
