It's Back to School time!!!

Please be reminded that 8 Schools in the Town of Taber will be starting classes on Monday, August 31st for the Horizon School Division while the remaining 2 schools in the Holy Spirit Catholic School Division, will start classes on Tuesday, September 1st.

Playground Zones have always been limited to 30 Km/h between 8:00 AM to one hour after sunset, 365 days a year while the sole School Zone is limited to 30 Km/h between 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM during school days.

All motorists are reminded to be extra cautious in these areas.

Let's all do our part to ensure that our community's youth are safe as they head back to school!

Thank you to all of the incredible people at the Town of Taber and all of the organizations and support services for all their hard work to make this happen.

Slowly but surely, we will get back to 100% access to our incredible facilities!

It's almost time!!!!!

🏒 The wait is finally over.

On Friday, July 31, we're inviting the community to join us for the Return of our Rink, celebrating the reopening of the Large Ice after the December explosion.

For months, Town of Taber staff and local contractors put in the work to bring this portion of the Arena back. There were long days, late nights, and countless hours behind the scenes, all driven by one goal: getting our community back on the ice.

When the Town set an internal target of reopening by August 1, we knew it would take an incredible team effort. Thanks to the dedication, skill, and determination of everyone involved, we're proud to say we met that goal.

Now it's your turn.

Before the Verset Hockey Camp begins on August 1, join us as we induct Gerald Beckie and Joe Orban into our brand-new Wall of Fame (trust us, you'll want to see it!), then lace up your skates and be among the first to take to the ice.

Whether you're a player, a parent, or someone who simply knows what this rink means to Taber, we'd love to celebrate this milestone with you.

Thank you to everyone for your patience and support over the past several months. We can't wait to welcome you back to the Large Ice!
