🚜Stone Mills Public Works Visits LARC Yarker Daycare for Touch a Truck! 🚜

Today, Stone Mills Public Works had the opportunity to visit the LARC Yarker Daycare for their “Touch a Truck” event!

Our crew enjoyed spending time with the children, showcasing some of the equipment used to help keep our roads safe and community running smoothly. From big trucks to lots of great questions, it was a fun and engaging morning for everyone involved.

A big thank you to the LARC Yarker Daycare staff for the invitation and to all the children for their excitement and enthusiasm. We always appreciate opportunities to connect with the community and inspire future operators, mechanics, and public works professionals!

Ontario’s new “Bring Your Own Beverage” (BYOB) rules now allow adults 19+ to bring alcohol to approved outdoor community and cultural events, if municipalities create bylaws allowing it.

Council has directed staff not to bring forward a by-law at this time that would permit bring-your-own alcoholic beverages at outdoor public events in the Township of Stone Mills.
