This multi-media group exhibition stems from a series of residencies and weekly workshops that took place at Tamworth Central in late summer 2025. Each Crafting Magic workshop revised and remixed the last, creating a relay of collaborative storytelling and production through which local materials, sites, and atmospheres were taken up as active ingredients in the fusing of magical phenomena. Built around a workshop framework and deck of cards developed by Neil Mulholland (Edinburgh College of Art), this initiative and its resulting exhibition looks at how magic animates everyday life, while reframing the processes through which artworks construct or conjure their effects.
