Welcome Back, TRA Families!
The countdown is on, and we can’t wait to welcome our students back for another fantastic year at TRA!
Homeroom Information
Homeroom teachers for students in Primary–Grade 6 will be reaching out to families soon with welcome emails and important back-to-school information.
School Supplies
Grades P-8
To make back-to-school easier for families, essential school supplies will be provided for all students in Primary–Grade 8 for a $30 supply fee. This fee can be paid online here: https://ccrce.schoolcashonline.com/
Grades 9-12
Students in Grades 9–12 are encouraged to arrive with basic supplies such as:
Binder(s)
Loose-leaf paper
Pens and pencils
Teachers will let students know if any additional course-specific supplies are needed.
All students are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle to school each day.
Ice Cream Social
We are excited to invite our Pre-Primary and Primary students and their families to an Ice Cream Social on Tuesday, September 1 from 5-6pm. It’s a great opportunity to meet staff, reconnect with friends, and kick off the school year with a sweet treat!
First Day of School
We look forward to welcoming all students on Thursday, September 3rd.
Doors open: 8:10 AM
Classes begin: 8:30 AM
Staff will be available to help students find their classrooms Thursday morning!
Lunch Orders
Lunch ordering is now open! You can order your child’s lunches at https://ccrce.nslunch.ca/login
Our lunch program will begin on Tuesday, September 8th. Students will need to bring packed lunches on the first two school days.
Welcome Back BBQ
Be sure to mark your calendars for our annual Welcome Back BBQ on Wednesday, September 9th! We look forward to gathering with families and celebrating the start of another great school year together.
We are excited to fill our halls with learning, laughter, and Mustang pride once again. Enjoy the final days of summer, and we’ll see everyone soon!
