Some of our elementary Mustangs celebrated Take Me Outside Day with outdoor PE! 🍂 Our students got their steps in while combining movement, learning, and creativity through some nature-inspired artwork. A little fresh air, a little exercise, and a whole lot of learning outside the classroom! 🍁🌲

Spirit’s Birthday Celebration Update

With the potential for a CUPE strike as early as October 26th, we have made the decision to postpone our plans to celebrate Spirit’s Birthday and Community BBQ.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support of TRA. We look forward to celebrating together when the time is right!

💙💚 We’re off to a great start to the week at TRA!

A quick reminder that Friday, October 23rd, is Provincial Conference Day, so there is NO SCHOOL for students PP–12 on Friday. Let’s make it another great week, Mustangs! 🐎💙💚

🎭 Congratulations to the Cast and Crew of Anne of Green Gables! 🎭

TRA would like to congratulate all of our wonderful staff and students who recently participated in the community production of Anne of Green Gables!

The talent, hard work, and dedication that everyone brought to this production were truly inspiring. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces sharing their creativity, passion, and love of the arts with our community.

We are incredibly proud of our staff and students and feel so fortunate to be part of a community filled with such amazing talent! Way to go, everyone! ❤️👏

🧡 Orange Shirt Day at TRA 🧡

Last week, TRA recognized Orange Shirt Day, Treaty Day, and the importance of Truth and Reconciliation. Many of our classes took part in meaningful learning opportunities, activities, crafts, and discussions to help students understand the history and lasting impacts of residential schools, the importance of treaties, and our shared responsibility in reconciliation.

We are proud of our students and staff for taking the time to learn, reflect, and honour the children, families, and communities affected by residential schools.

Every Child Matters. Every Day. 🧡

🎃 TRA Halloween Costume Share! 👻 💙 💚

As we settle into October and many families start thinking ahead to Halloween, this long Thanksgiving weekend might be the perfect time to dig through those costume bins and see if there are any costumes your family is ready to pass along! Our goal is to reuse and repurpose costumes, reduce waste, and help families keep the cost of Halloween down.

💚 Donate by October 15th

Gently used costumes can be dropped off at TRA.

What may be taking up space in your costume bin could be exactly what another student is looking for!

For pickup arrangements, contact Amanda at (902) 897-8658.

🛍️ FREE Costume Shopping Day!

All TRA families are welcome to browse and take what they need, absolutely free!

Join us Friday, October 16th, from 7:30am–4:00pm.

Donate if you can. Shop if you’d like. Take what you need. 👻 ❤️ 🎃
