Annual pump testing and ladder testing is being performed on SBFR fire apparatus.
Annual testing of fire pumps ensures that the pump can deliver the necessary water pressure and volume during a fire. The test verifies that the equipment has not degraded due to age or corrosion and maintains long term reliability. Annual ladder testing is conducted to ensure equipment remains structurally sound, free of heat damage, metal fatigue and hidden stress fractures.
