Do you know where to call to report a wildland fire? 🔥

South of the French and Mattawa Rivers 📍
If you are located south of these rivers, call 911 to report a fire. While this includes areas in the fire region, and outside of it, there is a higher population density and more municipal departments who can respond quickly. Calling 911 ensures the closest municipal fire department is notified right away, reducing response time.

When requested, we work with municipal fire departments to assist with wildland fires within municipal boundaries.

North of the French and Mattawa Rivers 📍
To report a fire north of these rivers, call 310-FIRE (310-3473).

Be prepared to let us know the location, approximate size, and description of what you’re seeing.
