The Kitsumkalum treaty office's communications team is on a mission to collect member addresses and keep our members informed on treaty information so members can make an informed decision on treaty. We are more than happy to post and respond to all relevant questions around the Kitsumkalum Treaty Negotiations. It is the priority of this page to share information regarding the Kitsumkalum

Treaty and Community as well as provide a healthy and safe forum for all members to ask questions regarding the Treaty and Treaty Process. This page will be regularly monitored and we look forward to addressing any questions you may have related to Treaty. We are doing our best to respond to questions as quickly as possible. Please be patient with us. Abusive and inappropriate language will not be tolerated and immediate action will be taken.We ask for mutual respect and privacy. We request you are respectful of these boundaries and try to adhere to them at all times. Our mandate for this page is to review relevant questions andl provide accurate responses, collect the most up to date contact information from our members. We will also post information on post treaty related events, announcement of winners from any treaty related initiatives and post any articles that may be of interest to our members.

Today, on National Indigenous Peoples Day, we proudly celebrate our enduring connection to our Laxyuup.

Our lands, rivers, and waters have sustained our people since time immemorial. They hold the stories of our ancestors, the teachings of our Elders, and the responsibility we carry to protect them for future generations.

As Kitsumkalum, we honour our culture, language, traditions, and celebrate the strength of our community. Together, we continue to build on the legacy of those who came before us while creating a bright future for our children and grandchildren.

Today, we celebrate who we are, where we come from, and the unbreakable bond between our people, our territory, and one another.
