Start your journey towards becoming a Thompson regional Aquatic Centre lifeguard!

Anyone 13 or older or who has completed the Bronze Star course can sign up for the Bronze Medallion this summer.

Classroom training will take place in the TRCC with the water portion happening at Paint Lake from August 17-19.

The cost for the Bronze Medallion course is $167.50.

The Bronze Cross course will also be offered at the TRCC from August 20-22 at a cost of $98.50.

To take the Bronze Cross, you must have completed the Bronze Medallion course.

Thompson Drive will be closed between Cree Road and Wolf Street on Friday, June 19 while construction crews prepare the area for curb installation.

Local traffic access to KFC and Awasis Agency will be granted under the direction of flaggers.

The TRCC Fitness Centre will be closed from Friday, June 19 to Sunday, June 21 while Nickel Days is taking place.

Current Fitness Centre memberships will have their expiry dates extended by three days to account for the closure.
