Smiles Foundation
Registered in 1998, the Canadian operations have two main activities:

Smiles Foundation is a group of registered non-profit and charitable organizations that tirelessly work together to fulfill the mission to provide life-enhancing activities, dental care and primary health care education to children, free of charge. To date, over 5.5 million people, primarily children from low-income families, have received dental treatments and education in the “Sonrisas” clinics

throughout the Dominican Republic in over 34 years of service. To date, in Ontario, over 2,000 people, primarily children and seniors from low-income families have received free Dance Sport lessons and health education in over 2 years of service.

Fundación para la Prevención y la Salud Bucal de Los Niños (Clínicas “Sonrisas”)
Initiated in 1987, our Dominican operations offer free dental services for children and affordable services for adults, preventative health education and other community-oriented life-enhancing programs. Securing donations of dental and educational supplies in Canada and raising funds to ship them to the Dominican Republic.
2. Making Dance Sport accessible to everyone and delivering primary and dental health education through the "Smiles In Action" program. Smiles Foundation USA
Registered in 2018, the American operations focus on securing donations of dental supplies in the USA and raising funds to ship these donations to the Dominican Programs.

As we continue to grow, we wanted our image to grow with us — reflecting the energy, passion, and impact behind everything we do. While our logo may be new, our mission remains the same: creating brighter futures, spreading smiles, and making meaningful change!

On February 24, 2026, TELSA (Telugu Student Association at McMaster University) hosted an event called “Koncham Ishtam Koncham Sneham” — “A Little Love, A Little Friendship.” 💌 Through candy gram sales and the support of approximately 30 attendees, they raised $120 for Smiles Foundation.

Thank you to everyone at McMaster University who participated and helped support brighter smiles and stronger communities!
