Our business helps to divert clothing from landfills and provides a source of supply for developing nations. By making it convenient for the community to recycle their used clothing, we positively impact society and the environment, while providing an additional method of funding for non-profit organizations. Envirotex works within the Canadian manufacturing sector to help reduce textile waste by

offering a free TEXTILE WASTE collection service. Our services have began to incorporate several Government institutions and facilities where textile waste is an issue. Useful recyclable clothing and textiles are often discarded because they are no longer fashionable, the right size or useful for large manufacturing purposes. These articles may have little wear and tear when they are thrown out or may be brand new cloth and dumped by companies that have no use for them. Such items would be welcomed by others here in Canada and in developing countries where goods of such quality are too expensive or unavailable. Textile waste that is of no use as clothing can be cut up into industrial rags or even rewoven to create new fabrics. Recycling provides an opportunity to give a useful second life to clothing and textiles.
