September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today, we honour the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities who continue to live with their lasting impacts.

At Marathon, we recognize the importance of listening, learning and reflecting as part of the ongoing journey toward reconciliation.

A reminder that Marathon’s administrative offices are closed today in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We encourage our community to take time today to learn from Indigenous voices, histories and experiences. 🧡

It was a wonderful opportunity to come together, reflect on the past year, celebrate the people who make our work possible, and connect with members of our community.

Talking about su***de can feel difficult. But open, compassionate conversations can help reduce stigma and make it easier for people to speak up and seek support.

Today, on World Su***de Prevention Day, we’re reminded that listening matters.

A conversation doesn’t have to have all the answers. Sometimes it begins by making space for someone to be heard.

If you are thinking about su***de, or you’re worried about someone else, call or text 9-8-8 anytime. Support is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
