Utility rates for residents will increase on July 1, 2026, per Bylaw 1506-26 - Master Rates, Fees & Charges Bylaw, which was passed at the April 27, 2026, Regular Council Meeting.

The changes to the utility rates for water, sewer, and solid waste have increased to cover utility operating costs, as well as current and future capital costs. The rate increases were implemented in accordance with Council's vision, which directs the municipality to ensure utility services are self-sustaining and not supported by other revenue-generating areas.

Residents and businesses are encouraged to review the full bylaw online at https://threehills.ca/p/bylaws
