The 4th week of September is Gender Equality Week in Canada.

It’s a time to:
✨ Celebrate the achievements of women & gender-diverse people
✨ Recognize ongoing barriers for women & gender-diverse people
✨ Encourage everyone to take action toward true equality

πŸ‘‰ Why it matters:
Women still earn less than men
Leadership & STEM remain male-dominated
Indigenous, racialized, newcomer, 2SLGBTQI+, & disabled women face added challenges
Gender-based violence is still far too common

Equality benefits everyone. Keep pushing for progressβ€”this week and all year long. πŸ’œ
