I believe it's time for students to take action. I believe it's time for us to revitalize the Student Movement at Lakehead University and use our collective voice to act for change. The very essence of my candidacy can be summed up in five words:
A Strong Voice for Students. Represent students efficiently to all levels of government, the Canadian Federation of Students, and Lakehead University

1. Advocate for free tuition for all students at the provincial and federal level
1.2. Work to ensure fair and equitable treatment for all students, ensuring compliance with all human rights legislation
1.3. Advocate for electoral reform at all levels of government and take immediate action to reform LUSU elections, ending the use of First-Past-The-Post
1.4. Work collaboratively with the Canadian Federation of Students to advocate on behalf of all students in Canada
1.5. Act to keep our LUSU bus passes available and affordable to students
2. Stand in solidarity with Standing Rock Reservation
3. Work in tandem with the Labour Movement to increase the rights of working class workers and students
4. Support increased sustainability on campus and a shift towards a greener future
5. Involve students in the process by listening to their views and interacting with them often
6. Oppose the Trans Pacific Partnership and other harmful trade deals
7. Oppose the end of the 2% annual provincial domestic tuition hike cap
7.1. Immediately express concerns to the provincial government and demand the implementation of a permanent 0% increase cap
8. Oppose the privatization of government owned services such as Hydro One
9. Work with students when they have academic grievances
9.1. Address student concerns in the Lakehead University Senate
9.2. Support policies that ensure fairness to students and respect for their health and well-being
10. Ensure Wifi is present throughout campus, including the Braun and Ryan buildings
Experience and Qualifications:
Regional leader of Fair Vote Canada, advocating for electoral reform
Experience in addressing media and elected officials
Twice interviewed by the media, appearing on TBT News and Acadia Broadcasting Network radio stations
Presented to mayors, reeves, councillors and city clerks of 17 municipalities at the Thunder Bay District Municipal League
Regularly is out in the community attending political events
