Four Tournaments, Hundreds of Golfers, One Incredible Season!

What a fantastic way to wrap up Discovery's final employee golf tournament of 2026!

Over the course of four tournaments this season, our employees hit the fairways, shared plenty of laughs, enjoyed some friendly competition, and created lasting memories with colleagues across our operations.

Beyond the great golf, we're especially proud that together we raised funds for, and donated food to, the South Porcupine Food Bank, supporting an organization that plays an important role in our community.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and helped make this year's tournaments such a success. Your enthusiasm and generosity made this season one to remember.

We're already looking forward to another great year on the course in 2027!

As we say goodbye to Giant Tiger in South Porcupine, we want to take a moment to thank them for the incredible support they’ve shown our food bank over the years. Through donations, purchasing partnerships, and countless acts of generosity, they have helped community members access the support they need.

A very special thanks goes to Tammy, whose kindness, dedication, and willingness to jump in whenever we called made her an amazing partner. Her commitment to helping others and supporting our community has never gone unnoticed, and we’re so grateful for everything she’s done.

While it’s always difficult to see a local business close its doors, we’re reminded that a strong community is built by people who care for one another. Thank you to everyone at Giant Tiger for being such an important part of our community. We wish you all the very best in whatever comes next, you’ll always be part of our story. 💚

Today’s food drive was a huge success thanks to the incredible generosity of our residents. Your donations will help support local food banks and families in need throughout our community.
