July 7th at 2:28 p.m., the TFD was dispatched to respond to an ATV rollover. Members responded with the rescue unit and Pumper 1. Upon arrival, members found that an ATV had left the road and rolled into a nearby ditch. Members assisted local EMS with the occupants involved. STARS was called, and members established a landing zone. Members set up traffic control and continued to work with EMS and RCMP. Once the scene was deemed clear, members returned to the hall and were back in service by 6:00 p.m. We want to thank Tisdale and Melfort RCMP for their quick response and help and local EMS.

June 28th at 2:09 am, TFD responded to a report of a power pole emitting an electrical arc. Members arrived on scene in the rescue unit, pumper 1, and the utility unit. Upon investigation, a transformer was found to have failed due to weather conditions, resulting in the release of electrical current. Members remained on scene until Sask Power arrived. Once the scene was deemed safe, members returned to the hall and back into service.

Tisdale’s soccer club concluded their season with a wind-up event on Wednesday evening, with a water fight. The fire department was invited to participate. It is uncertain who had more enjoyment from the activity, the adults or the children. Safe to say it was was a blast!

On June 23rd at 10:44 am, TFD was dispatched to provide a lift assist for local EMS. Three members responded to the call in the rescue unit. They returned to the hall and were back in service by 11:30 am.

On June 24th at 1:21 pm, TFD was dispatched to assist in landing STARS at Tisdale Hospital. Two members responded in the rescue unit. They returned to the hall and were back in service by 3:00 pm.

On June 25th, TFD was dispatched to respond to a MVC. Five members responded in the rescue unit and Pumper 1. Zenon Park Fire Department was also called for mutual aid while en route to the scene. Members arrived, assisted EMS, and set up traffic control. They returned to the hall and were back in service by 6:00 pm. We thank Zenon Park Fire Department on their quick response in mutual aid. We also thank local RCMP and EMS for their quick response.

Last night, the TFD hosted a supper for all members and their families. We also took the opportunity to acknowledge our junior members as they graduate from high school this week and embark on new endeavors. We extend our congratulations to Brody Taylor, Rhys Steinhausser, and Emily Gustus on completing their secondary education and express our gratitude for their contributions to the department. From all of us, we wish them continued success in their future pursuits and look forward to seeing the impact they will make.

On June 6th at 7:00 p.m., the TFD responded to a semi vs pickup truck collision. Members responded with the rescue unit, Pumper 1, and utility truck. Upon arrival, all vehicle occupants were found to be outside of their vehicles. TFD established traffic control until tow trucks arrived and cleared the scene. Members returned to the hall and were back in service by 9:30 p.m.

May 30/26 at 7:21 p.m., TFD responded to a single vehicle rollover. Members arrived with rescue unit, pumper 1, utility truck and tanker. EMS and RCMP also attended. Occupants had self-extricated upon arrival. TFD established traffic control until the scene was cleared and returned to hall.
