There have been reports of discolored water specifically on Convent Lane and surrounding areas. The Town of Torbay is actively working on remedying this issue.

If you notice discoloured water the Town advises running cold water on your outdoor tap or tub until water runs clear. Residents should avoid doing laundry or running hot water until the discolouration dissipates to avoid staining clothes.

The Town appreciates your patience and understanding while we remedy this issue.

WATER PRESSURE ADVISORY UPDATE

The Town of Torbay would like to advise residents on the North Side of Town in particular the Bauline Line, Country Drive, and Patrick’s Path areas that they may experience low water pressure due to a possible water leak in the area.

Town staff are currently investigating to locate the source of the leak and will work to restore normal water service as quickly as possible.

The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates residents' patience and understanding while crews work to resolve the issue.
