Reset is a Toronto based social enterprise that envisions a world where more of us feels permission and privilege to just play. We started in 2015 with the organizing of adult digital detox summer camps just outside of Toronto. With the pandemic forcing the cancellation of the camp, we shifted our focus towards the city and the emerging needs in communities for accessible activities, collective ca

re and social justice. In 2021, Reset organized over 50 Pop-up Playgrounds in parks and public spaces around Toronto, followed by the launch of our Community Centre this year and the re-launch of our flagship event, Camp Reset, which will be hosted this September. These enigmatic folks and their curated vibes will be lighting up the night with tunes to groove to and release back into the earth. ⭐️

🌲Forest Freak-uency is a silent disco of mycelial and deep soil proportions. For those who haven’t experienced a silent disco, it's basically a choose your own adventure dance party! You will receive a headphone that has the capacity to hold three different channels, so you could optionally switch between vibes to your liking!

If you've been to any of our Reset activations (Wonderverse, Pop-up Playgrounds, Flavour Harvest, etc.), you’ve definitely seen these headphones. 🎧

Not into dancing or want a break? We’ve thought about that! There will be introvert zones where you can stay connected to the energy and vibe but have more space and calm + other optional zones.

Not sure what your Camp Name should be?

You aren’t alone!

You might ask:
👉 But how can one name capture who I am right now?

Well, it doesn’t! That’s the fun part! Your government name doesn’t either perhaps, but a name is what we make it and maybe what we want to embody for 4 days!

👉 What are the rules for names? What if I change my mind?

Change your mind away!! (or see saw away should we say?) Changing names are welcome. Maybe you wake up each day at camp with a new name…you do you! There are no rules for your camp name, it's whatever you want!

👉 Why no real names? I like my real name.

We hear you! And we are certain your real name is worn beautifully by you. The purpose of this parameter is to foster anonymity, introduce playfulness and provide agency to show up however you want. But maybe you can do a version of your real name if you like…no one will know in a sea of camp names!

⭐The Camp Reset Living Lab for 2025 is starting soon and we can’t do it without you! But unlike a science lab, you aren’t the guinea pigs. We are the culture makers, the ambassadors of our own light and desires and someone ready to explore what play and rest is to them in this unique container of:

No phones.
No real names.
No work talk.
No money exchanged.
No ads.
No surveillance.

Looking for something fun to bring to camp, meet up between 1pm - 3pm to check out Kensington Market! Shop, snack, browse, hang. 🌱

✨From 3pm on, we’ll be chillin at a park with picnic blankets, music, snacks, and a few light activities, creative bits, a puzzle ofc, and other ways to spark connection.

Designed to feel like a bunch of cocoons, caterpillars and butterflies hanging out, you also don’t want to miss the hammock ladder!! 🤩

👉🏽A serene and welcoming space nestled within the heart of camp. It's an ideal spot for campers to take a breather, enjoy conversation, grab a bite, or simply drift off for a rejuvenating nap.

When evening arrives, the sanctuary glows with a beautiful array of colorful lights, enhancing the camp's cheerful atmosphere. 😍
