What are Canadians really eating today?🍜🧆

📊 The last Canadian Community Health Survey – Nutrition was conducted in 2015. Since then, Canada’s population, food habits, and consumption patterns have changed, but nutrition research and policy are still relying on decade-old data.

Dietitians of Canada has joined a national coalition calling on the federal government to conduct a new CCHS-Nutrition. The advocacy effort is already gaining momentum, with responses and follow-up meetings across key federal departments.

Current nutrition data is essential for stronger research, informed policy, and better health outcomes. DC will continue advocating until this critical data gap is addressed
