Sveicam jauno Vēstnieci - Katarina Plātere!
Par nākamo Latvijas vēstnieci Kanādā iecelta Katarina Plātere. Viņa amatā nomainīs vēstnieku Kasparu Ozoliņu, kurš Latvijas intereses Kanādā pārstāv kopš 2022. gada.
Katarina Plātere has been appointed as Latvia's next Ambassador to Canada. She will succeed Ambassador Kaspars Ozoliņš, who has represented Latvia's interests in Canada since 2022. 🇱🇻🤝🏻🇨🇦

Toronto šorīt plkst. 6.30. Dūmi no plašajiem mežu ugunsgrēkiem Ziemeļontārio ir nonākuši līdz pilsētai, iekrāsojot sauli oranžu un pārklājot debesis ar biezu dūmaku. Skaists, bet satraucošs skats, atgādinājums par nopietno situāciju ziemeļos.

Toronto at 6:30 this morning. Smoke from the widespread wildfires in Northern Ontario has travelled south, turning the sun orange and covering the city in a thick haze. A beautiful but troubling sight, and a reminder of the serious situation unfolding in the north.
