31 Division Neighbourhood Officers We are 5 Toronto Police Officers assigned to the York University Heights Neighbourhood in the City of Toronto.

In the Toronto Police 31 Division Neighbourhood Officer Program, our primary goals are crime prevention, community mobilization, proactive enforcement, and providing educational and athletic opportunities to local youth. Our work helps us to identify the small percentage of people who would victimize the community through criminal activity and to act accordingly to subdue crime in our Neighbourhoo

d by not only enforcing the law but also by empowering the community to speak out against crime and assist us in our efforts to identify the criminal element. We work closely with the TDSB and TDCSB schools in 31 Division and also with the administration, staff and security at York University to help us achieve our goals. Our efforts would not be possible without the hard work done by TPS officers in PRU and the various investigative Units at 31 Division, nor without the support of our Unit Commanders.
