Parker has a cheerful personality and a smile that can brighten any room. One activity that always gets him excited is bowling! He loves getting out, taking in everything around him and being part of the action 🎳

Before we jump into a new month, we’re looking back at an action-packed August at Safehaven

Our clients made the most of the final weeks of summer with outdoor adventures, cooking classes, a visit to Reptilia Zoo & Education Centre🐊🐠🌴, a trip to cheer on the Toronto Blue Jays and a whole lot more. We look forward to everything September has in store!

Swimming is so much more than a fun day in the pool for our Safehaven clients! It’s a chance to get moving and enjoy an activity that many of our clients truly love. Music therapy and visits from our therapeutic clowns are always a hit with Iosif! He loves all the different sounds, instruments and dances, and is all smiles when they arrive.

Congratulations to two of our amazing Safehaven clients, who hit the court at the 2026 CEWHA National Tournament, Canada’s premier electric wheelchair hockey competition.

After an action packed weekend, they took home a silver medal! Way to go!

Our clients made the most of every moment this July, enjoying all that summer has to offer.

Whether it was swimming, baking, exploring Ripley’s Aquarium, visiting the Hockey Hall of Fame, celebrating Canada Day, there were plenty of opportunities for our Safehaven community to enjoy some fun outings together!

We can’t wait to see what adventures the final month of summer has in store for everyone.
