assistance for the benefit of clients and

To provide culturally and linguistically sensitive social support services, and social and recreational group programs, based on identified community needs. URGENT!
I am looking for a woman with experience to care for my Mom. Mom is 98 yrs old, she was born in Ukraine. Mama is fluent in Ukrainian and English. Mama manages the stairs with supervision, in and outdoors, can read and enjoys good company. The job would include some household chores, making soup etc, small meals, cleaning out a cupboard etc. Mama has PSW care from the government daily for showers, dressing. Mom has a cleaning lady every 3-4 weeks. You would be responsible for meals, snacks, gentle chair exercises, supervison Mom walking. She is independent with her walker. We live in Burlington, Ont close to the Brant St exit and Highway 403.
Looking for 5 days a week, at least 5-6 hours per day.

We’re excited to share the details about our upcoming IN-PERSON Toronto Paramedic Services Info Session taking place on July 21 (Tuesday) 3pm-5pm. This event not is exclusive to JVS clients, and we will also be welcoming eligible job seekers who are currently registered with another Employment Ontario (EO) service provider.



Please note when sharing this information with clients that registration is mandatory. The location will only be sent to participants whose registration has been reviewed and confirmed as the spots are limited.

Additionally, the automatic email received after submitting the registration form is only an acknowledgement of receipt and does not serve as confirmation of attendance. Participants must wait for a separate confirmation email before considering their registration approved.
