Jerkfest does it again. Showcasing great food, music and entertainment and giving fans a whole lot of fun.

CG Davis and family were out for the food and the show. It was great to connect with our very vibrant community and to see the best of culture and heritage being enjoyed by one and all.

What a great 25th anniversary edition for the biggest and longest running Caribbean food and entertainment festival in North America. Kudos to the Jerkfest Toronto team and to all the fans, sponsors, volunteers and supporters.

Here's to the next 25 years of Jerkfest Toronto.

A wonderful evening celebrating Jamaica’s 64th Anniversary of Independence with a full house at the Jamaican Canadian Association’s Independence Gala.

Under the theme “United in Celebrating Resilience,” we celebrated not only our beloved Jamaica, but the strength, service and spirit of a Jamaican-Canadian community that continues to stand together — in good times and through challenges, including the response to Hurricane Melissa. 🇯🇲🇨🇦

Congratulations also to the JCA on its own 64th anniversary and to this year’s awardees, whose service and achievements continue to strengthen our community. A big thank you to the inspiring keynote speaker Dr Upton Allen.

And, of course, an Independence celebration needs good Jamaican music! 🎶🔥 Big up Rayzalution and DJ Funky for keeping the vibes flowing and MC Michael Anthony Cuffe for guiding us through a memorable evening.

64 years strong. Resilient. United. 💚💛🖤
