Organization: Each CPLC Committee shall be made up of community and police representatives from the division's geographic area. Each Committee shall be inclusive of as many community organizations and groups as possible, thereby truly reflecting the community. It is understood that members of the CPLC are volunteers and that as s

uch their continued membership and/or participation is subject to the approval of the Unit Commander. Mandate: CPLC members work together in identifying, prioritizing and problem solving of local policing issues; to be proactive in community relations, crime prevention and communication of initiatives, and to serve as a resource to the police and the community. Who we are: 14 Division Community Liaison Committee is made up of community and police representatives from 14 Divisionโ€™s geographic area. That is, Lake Ontario to the south, Dupont Street to the north, Dufferin Street & Roncesvales Avenue to the west and Spadina Avenue to the east. We strive to be inclusive of as many community organizations and groups as possible, truly reflecting the communities we represent.

The TPS 14 Division Community-Police Liaison Committee will be organizing and hosting an in-person town hall for fall 2023 (date and location TBA) and we would like to request your insight about what to include in the agenda. Please comment on this post to 'vote' from below list on what is the most important to you. All suggestions will be reviewed by the committee, and once the event is finalized it will be released for registration. Thank you for your support in helping us to plan the town hall. Crime Prevention Week takes place from Sunday, November 6, 2022, to Saturday, November 12, 2022. In partnership with the Government of Ontarioโ€™s Ministry of the Solicitor General and the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP), police services across the province are encouraged to reach out to their communities and work with government, business, and community groups to highlight the importance of crime prevention as a means to achieving safer and healthier communities for everyone.

This year's theme is "Safer. Stronger. Together." Follow the hashtags and on social media.
