Other services include Diners Club, Telephone Reassurance and Foot Care Clinics. At East York Meals on Wheels, we offer great tasting, balanced nutritious meals on a 28-day menu rotation. Choose from a wide selection of affordable meals. In addition to delivering hot meals and/or frozen meals, East York Meals on Wheels offers three additional services: Diners Club, Telephone Reassurance and Footc

are Clinics. All of our services offer much needed social support both in East York’s seniors community and residents with health challenges. Our Diners Club program provides an opportunity to enjoy a good meal in the company of others at a variety of different locations each month. We offer 8 to 10 luncheons each month with a full 3 course meal served. Clients have an opportunity to socialize and entertainment is provided at some locations (ie a movie, entertainer, bingo or a guest speaker). Volunteers provide door-to-door escort and transportation. Telephone Reassurance
Our Telephone Reassurance service provides is not only providing our clients with social interaction but regularly scheduled calls with our friendly volunteers provide a check on security. Clients and volunteers build friendships which reduce feelings of isolation. Clients and volunteers also have access to our social worker in the event of concerns. Footcare Clinics
'Preferred Health Care' offers non-invasive foot care at our office at 52-2 Thorncliffe Park Drive. Clinics are usually held on the third Thursday of every 2nd month at 12 noon. Fee: $35.00 at our clinic / $50.00 for at home service
